Important Information

*Thanks for taking the time off last week to come in to meet with me about your child’s progress thus far in the school year!

*Please remember to bring in canned goods and non-perishable items for our food drive the next two weeks.  This food will provide meals for local Oldham County families in need.  If you prefer to send in a donation, our class gets 1 point/$1 donated.  This friendly competition between our hallways will commence with a pajama picnic in the hallway for the winning hall!  Go yellow!

*As the colder weather approaches, please remember to send your child in appropriate attire!  We will be going outside for recess at 10:20am unless the temperature is 32 degrees or below.

*All students will receive a differentiated math homework packet on Monday.  Please help your child complete this at home and return to school on Friday.

*Our Field Trip to the Nutcracker is on Friday, December 4th.  Please send your child to school with a snack and a packed lunch!  We will eat snack prior to the field trip, and have lunch in the classroom when we return.    Congratulations to Mrs. Hackler and Mrs. Reich, as your names were pulled out of the bag at morning meeting to chaperone this trip.  Thank you to all who volunteered.  Please know we will have more trips!

*Please read below about our Husky Helping House event, and sign up to donate items!!!

 Harmony Families,
Open your hearts to a family in need this holiday season and support the Husky Helping House! Please look over the selected items for your classroom's child, sign up for one, and have the item in to your child's teacher no later than Friday, December 11th.

I hope that each one of you have a wonderful time with your loved ones over the break.  We have so much for which to be thankful. Many people in our community however are not as fortunate this holiday season; therefore, we would like to continue our annual tradition at Harmony Elementary called, The Husky Helping House.

Each December we adopt a family in need and donate items to make that child’s holiday season extra special. This season we are asking for your help! Below you will find a link for your classroom’s Husky Helping House.  Click on the link to sign up for an item- it’s that easy! We are encouraging the children to care by showing concern for others. We are asking that each family consider donating to our Husky Helping House in any way possible. We would like all donations returned to school by Friday, Dec. 11th.  Thank you for supporting our new tradition.
